FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION
Form Follows Function is the first editorial piece I did, created from my interest in Mid-Century Modern architecture and furniture, more specifically, The Farnsworth House. Known for its open-plan system, glass walls, and impracticality for living there full-time. Designer Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe made this weekend home for Dr Edith Farnsworth as per her request.
This editorial celebrates what is so special about the house, going into details about its structure from the exterior to the interior. The book format emulates the length of the house with pages that fold out; this is also applied to the book’s sleeve, which can be removed and used as a poster.
